MARILYN MANSON Accuser: "My Daughter Did Not Die In Vain"
April 9, 2002Maria St. John, the mother of actor Keanu Reeves' late girlfriend Jennifer Syme, who is accusing MARILYN MANSON of supplying her daughter with cocaine and encouraging her to drive while inebriated, held a press conference in Los Angeles on Monday, April 8th to respond to MANSON's claim that her lawsuit was completely baseless, according to Allstar.
St. John reportedly held back tears at the press conference, held at her attorney's offices in downtown L.A., as her attorney, Leonard Samuels, read a statement that alleged MANSON provided Syme with cocaine, among other things, and that he was fully "expecting" Syme to return to his house after retrieving her car early that morning.
I will be my daughter's voice," said St. John at the conference. I will be my daughter's advocate. I will be my daughter's sunshine, as she was to me. I will be my voice, my advocate because my daughter did not die in vain.
